Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to lead requirement gathering and analysis to drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of hedge fund accounting concepts, experience with fund administration systems, and strong business analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead requirement gathering and analysis to drive business decisions.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of hedge fund accounting workflows, including NAV calculation, trade capture, cash/position reconciliations, performance fees, and investor allocations.
  • Collaborate with Fund Accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements.
  • Drive process and system improvements by streamlining reconciliations, automating manual processes, and enhancing data integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expert knowledge of hedge fund accounting concepts, including NAV, accruals, P&L attribution, fee structures (management & incentive/performance), side pockets, share classes.
  • Experience with fund administration systems, such as Advent Geneva or Investran.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process modeling, UAT, documentation.
  • Understanding of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives (swaps, options, futures, FX).
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools for data analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
