Senior SAP FICO Consultant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. As a senior consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet our clients' business needs.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional consulting skills, deep technical expertise in SAP FICO, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Incident management, ticketing, and change requests.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to understand financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend SAP FICO solutions.
  • Stay current with SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support for SAP FICO module enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all FICO-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Read and debug ABAP programs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Work on rotational shift timings.
Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or master's in commerce, finance, business administration, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of hands-on work experience as an SAP FICO Senior Consultant in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong exposure to financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, taxes, cost center, and profit center accounting, asset accounting, bank accounting, controlling.
  • FICO integration with MM & SD Modules, project system, COPA, banking EBS & DME.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Expert understanding of interfaces, IDocs, and eDocument.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • SAP certification in FICO is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
