Java Full Stack Developer

  • This is a senior role in our IT Advisory Services team to be part of the delivery of core Java full stack-based projects for our customers across the globe.

Job Responsibilities:

">
  • Design and develop client applications using any Cloud Platform, leveraging deep understanding and adoption of Agile software delivery techniques and technologies including Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
  • Assess existing large scale IT environments towards migration to Cloud, utilizing hands on experience in Core Java & Java8 Full Stack technologies.
  • Implement models within pricing and risk systems, participate in developing/enhancing risk platforms in a bank/financial institution.
  • Develop software applications used for analytical purposes, pricing models, risk management, and credit pricing.
  • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and exceptions related Market Risk metrics.

Required Skills:

">
  • Knowledge of applying object-oriented and functional programming styles to real-world software engineering problems.
  • Hands on experience in Multithreading, Kafka, Java/Java8, Cloud Experience (AWS/AZURE/GCP/PCF), Docker, Kubernetes and microservices.
  • Familiarity with fixed income instruments, knowledge of key features of Cloud Service Providers, technical certifications in Java and Cloud technologies.
  • Multithreading, Concurrency, Collection, Generics, JVM/Memory Management and Internals, Java NIO/IO.
  • Pricing Products: Understanding of pricing models and financial products, Risk Management: Knowledge of risk factors and risk management techniques.

Education and Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science from a reputed institute, overall application development experience of 4-8 years.
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, machine learning algorithms and data structures, strong attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Application development knowledge with financial or risk background, ability to interpret business requirements.
  • Experience in market risk management for interest rate or equity markets, perform statistical analysis.
  • Experience in migrating complex, multi-tier applications on Cloud Platforms like MS Azure/AWS.
