Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Live Connections.

With 5+ years of experience in structural engineering and a strong background in civil engineering, the ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with our Director, Project Managers, and Construction Managers to develop and integrate processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience and proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, Revit, CAD, and advanced skills in Macros/VBA in Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion, on time.
  • Work closely with clients and Structural design and BIM Engineers to produce creative designs.
  • Ensure effective staff training initiatives and conduct on-time performance reviews.
  • Implement Quality Management and Continuous Improvement Programs.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience and proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, Revit, CAD, and advanced skills in Macros/VBA in Excel.
  • Ability to work independently on projects and handle teams.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience in structural engineering building design on multidisciplinary projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Timesheets, Tekla, Dynamo, and 3D Structure Modelling Software.
  • Experience with Precast Technology and hands-on experience in designing Precast Buildings.
  • Structural design license.
