Job Title:

Data Engineering and AI Platform Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to lead the development of our enterprise data platform using Azure and Power Platform technologies.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Fabric Dataflows Gen2.
  • Develop and deploy data models using Power BI, including star schemas, semantic layer design, and DAX performance tuning.
  • Implement data security and governance practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), secrets management, and audit logging.
  • Collaborate with Python/dbt engineers to expose curated datasets and implement row-level security (RLS).
  • Orchestrate data ingestion, processing, and delivery using Power Automate and Logic Apps.
Requirements:
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Power BI, Power Automate, and Entra ID.
  • Strong data modeling and BI skills, including star schema design, semantic layer implementation, and DAX optimization.
  • Hands-on integration skills, including secure file drops, APIs, connectors, and gateways.
  • Security and governance mindset, including RBAC, secrets management, and audit logging.
  • Comfortable collaborating with Python/dbt engineers and contributing to SQL codebase.
