Software Developer II Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer II to join our team and play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of responsive web interfaces and dashboards for on-premise deployment.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in consuming and integrating RESTful services and real-time data streams to surface critical production metrics. They will also be proficient in translating UI/UX mockups into performant, accessible user experiences, and occasionally create wireframes or prototypes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop responsive web interfaces and dashboards for on-premise deployment
  • Consume and integrate RESTful services and real-time data streams to surface critical production metrics
  • Translate UI/UX mockups into performant, accessible user experiences
  • Participate in full Agile SDLC: sprint planning, estimation, delivery, and retrospectives
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Java
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
