About Us

Avalara is a leading provider of cloud-based tax compliance solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Strategic Partner Services Director.

Job Summary:

This role will oversee the execution of partner services, ensuring high levels of quality and efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with global partner services teams to ensure coordination of effort and defining and revising processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of partner services, ensuring high levels of quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with global partner services teams to ensure coordination of effort and defining and revising processes.
  • Work closely with internal teams like strategic alliances, partner development, partner support, and partner marketing to ensure a cohesive partner experience and to optimize service offerings.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track partner service levels, issue resolution times, and overall partner experience.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • 6+ years of experience in technology operations or a related function within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), partner portals (e.g., Mindmatrix), and support platforms.
