Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Static Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stress analysis and design.

About the Role:

The Static Stress Engineer is responsible for performing stress analysis of aircraft structures using various methods, including classical techniques, ISAMI, GFEM, and DFEM. This role requires extracting loads, stresses, material data, and geometry details from drawings, applying static design values from standard references, creating Finite Element Models (FEMs), conducting sizing of primary and secondary structures, and calculating Reserve Factors (RF) for failure modes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform stress analysis of metallic and composite aircraft structures.
  2. Extract loads, stresses, material data, and geometry details from part and assembly drawings.
  3. Apply static design values from standard references.
  4. Create Finite Element Models (FEMs).
  5. Conduct sizing of primary and secondary structures.
  6. CALCULATE RESERVE FACTORS FOR FAILURE MODES INCLUDING STRENGTH, BUCKLING, AND SHEAR PANEL FAILURE.
  7. Identify and implement low RF mitigations using classical or numerical methods.
  8. Prepare stress certification dossiers, including ACD4 and SSR reports.
  9. Collaborate with design, loads, and certification teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in structural analysis and design is required.
