Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Java Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance architectures for Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers
  • Design, implement, and optimize database schemas for MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring efficient resource utilization
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Build and maintain scalable backend systems in Java, integrating AI/LLM services such as OpenAI and Google Gemini
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Java (core concepts, multithreading, JVM internals, design patterns)
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices with Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with messaging systems for event-driven architectures
  • Proficiency in SQL optimization, schema design, and working with relational/NoSQL databases
  • Experience in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and Netflix OSS components
