Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software for AAD platform across QNX, Adaptive Autosar, and Classic Autosar sub-systems.

  • Design and develop software components that meet customer requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand complex user requirements and decompose them into functional, system, and detailed software requirements and architecture.
  • Write work packages and detailed technical specifications based on user requirements, identifying and recording technical risks and assumptions made in the software development life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Complying with industry standards and regulations such as UNECE, FUSA, ASPICE etc…
  • Validating and delivering working products through testing and integration with HW samples.
  • Managing dependencies with multiple teams and suppliers.
  • Contributing to the generation of targets and verification methods that are driven by Customer, Function Requirements and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
  • Mentoring junior SW engineers and communicating findings through presentations and reporting.
  • Engaging with global Chapters in contributing and adhering to Software architecture and development Best Practices.
  • Agreeing with teams on testing scope and Quality roles and responsibilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Masters' degree in Computer science or related engineering field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive SW.
  • Overall understanding of system architecture at a wider level.
  • Proficient in C++ Programming language.
  • Excellent working experience in various platforms such as QNX, Linux, AUTOSAR, Adaptive Autosar, preferably in ADAS domain.
  • Experienced in configuring and developing the platform software.
  • End-end working experience in design and development of some of the platform features such as Memory management, Diagnostics, Calibration, Vehicle Variant Config, Persistence, Software Download, Automotive Network comms, LifeCycle Management, Kernel driver integration, Cyber Security, platform configuration, bringup and optimization.
