Cloud Infrastructure Architect

This role involves designing and implementing cloud infrastructure that powers high-traffic platforms. The ideal candidate will work from the comfort of their home while collaborating with a global team to build scalable, secure, and reliable systems.

The day-to-day tasks include architecting and maintaining AWS environments (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53), automating deployments and scaling, managing backups and disaster recovery, implementing security best practices, troubleshooting and optimizing infrastructure for cost and performance, and collaborating with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and app integrations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53).
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Skilled in Linux administration, networking, and security.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience).
