We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

As a Java Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced business applications within the wholesale banking sector. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions using the latest technologies. Your role will involve creating, developing, and supporting complex software systems, ensuring code quality and maintainability through thorough testing and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality, scalable software solutions that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain complex software systems using Java 11 and beyond
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through thorough testing and code reviews
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of Java 11 and beyond, as well as Git and Maven
  • Experience with Spring Framework/Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, e.g. Oracle, and experience with Micro-Services architecture, container technologies: Docker, OpenShift
  • Knowledge of SRE/Tooling/Monitoring/Alerting, like Grafana and Prometheus
