Data Scientist Position

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to contribute to the development of our products. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions into our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Learning Development: Design, build, and optimize ML models using various algorithms; feature engineering, tuning, and validation.
  • Data Engineering: Process data, build, and optimize extract-transform-load (ETL) pipelines using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Algorithm Implementation: Develop and optimize AI/ML algorithms, including deep learning and reinforcement learning, for production.
  • Integration/Deployment: Deploy models via application programming interfaces (APIs) or microservices, utilizing model operationalization (MLOps) and collaborating with DevOps/Engineering teams.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date on AI/ML trends and experiment with new tools.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with product managers and engineers, document processes, and communicate findings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python or R.
  • ML Libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Data: SQL, NoSQL, and data pipelines (Spark, Hadoop, Airflow).
  • Cloud ML: Familiarity with AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI.
  • MLOps: Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, and TensorBoard.
  • Knowledge of model evaluation metrics, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and deep learning, particularly in the insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with graph analytics for fraud/network analysis.
  • Knowledge of insurance processes or financial risk modeling.
