Procurement Executive

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Executive to oversee the procurement process for all project-related materials, contractors, equipment, and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the successful execution of our projects in the coworking industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies for project-related procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and develop procurement plans aligned with project objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers/contractors, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including issuing requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluating bids, conducting quality assessments, and vendor closure.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor information.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or project timelines.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as project management, finance, technical, and operations to ensure effective communication and alignment of procurement activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and resolve any supplier-related issues or disputes.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Continuously review and enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • BBA / BCA / BCom / Diploma in Civil) or a related field, interior fitouts/civil experience with 3-5 years.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement professional or in a similar role, preferably in the field of construction, museums, infrastructure/interiors, or coworking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor development, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of sourcing strategies, negotiation techniques, and market analysis.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of ₹10,00,000 - ₹15,00,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and bonuses based on individual performance.
