Senior Executive Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior manager to lead our tax team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Allocate resources, monitor team performance, and conduct regular reviews
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex US tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065, etc.) for individuals and businesses
  • Provide US tax advisory services, including tax planning and strategy formulation
  • Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and address client-specific tax issues
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with US-based clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, coordinating with offices as needed
  • Implement best practices and drive process improvements within the tax team
  • Mitigate tax risks by ensuring adherence to IRS and international tax regulations

Competency Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of US tax experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing a tax team
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, Enrolled Agent (EA) certification
  • Proficiency in tax software
  • Strong knowledge of US tax laws (individual and business tax), including IRS regulations and state taxation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
