Cyber Security Professional

Protecting systems, networks, and data against internal and external threats is a top priority in today's digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Implement, and Manage Security Solutions: Utilize various security tools and infrastructure to safeguard against cyber threats.
  • Monitor Systems and Networks: Identify potential security breaches and investigate violations to ensure the highest levels of system integrity and data protection.
  • Perform Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, and Risk Analysis: Ensure systems are secure and compliant with regulatory requirements by conducting regular assessments and testing.
  • Respond to Security Incidents: Lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation to minimize downtime and impact.
  • Collaborate with IT and Development Teams: Implement security best practices and secure SDLC to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Manage Firewalls, Antivirus, EDR, SIEM, DLP, and IDS/IPS Tools: Maintain security tools and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness.
  • Maintain Documentation: Document security architecture, incidents, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Solid understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ELK), vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Strong understanding of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GSEC.
  • Experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and container security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
