Automation Engineer Job Overview

This role involves developing and maintaining automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.

  • Key responsibilities include designing scalable mobile automation tests using Appium or native mobile tools.
  • We are looking for an experienced engineer to write clean, maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • The ideal candidate will also have hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
Responsibilities

The successful Automation Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Designing and implementing robust automation frameworks.
  • Writing automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Implementing BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin.
  • Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conducting API and integration test automation.
Requirements

To be considered for this Automation Engineer position, you should have:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Solid experience in mobile automation.
  • A strong understanding of testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in writing BDD scenarios.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of REST API testing tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams.
  • A problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
