About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Embedded Systems Architect. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle for Carrier Engineering Embedded Platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong programming expertise in C, C++, STL.
  • Strong expertise on OOAD, UML.
  • Hands-on expertise on Linux OS, RTOS, multithreading.
  • Development experience with various communication protocols like IP, DHCP, RS232 RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN, CANOpen etc.
  • Confident in the use of GNU (Cross-)Toolchain, (C)Make.
  • Experience in creating images for different hardware platforms like ARM series (NXP, TI).
  • Experience with modern DevOps practices and tools: test-driven development, GIT, automated builds and tests, CI/CD with Gitlab/GitHub, Jenkins, AWS etc.
  • Git expertise to ensure merges, rebasing, cherry picking etc.
  • Expert knowledge of build automation/DevOps tools (e.g. Bitbucket, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Chef/Ansible etc).
  • Hands-on experience to build and handle VM's, Containers utilizing tools like, Docker.
  • High-level architecture design and complexity analysis.
  • Hands-on expertise on embedded GUI technologies like QT/QML.

Requirements

Qualifications: BE/ME or BTech/MTech – Electronics or BE/BTech in Electronics or ME/MTech in computer Science with 15+ years of experience.
