Network Security Manager

Job Overview:

  • Oversee the management of security infrastructure to ensure network stability and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of security protocols across WAN and LAN networks.
  • Conduct regular disaster recovery activities and periodic drills to ensure business continuity.
  • Develop expertise in server, storage, and network architectures to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Lead outsourced teams for daily operations and activities, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance by adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Effectively integrate new technologies with organizational requirements, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date asset inventory records are maintained.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Graduate degree in BE/BSc IT is essential. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a related field is necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Information security policies, procedures, compliance monitoring, disaster recovery operations.
  • Internal and external systems auditing covering key areas like network security, security operations, vulnerability assessment, access control.
  • Proficiency in SIEM, event log management, patch management/anti-virus/URL web filtering, vulnerability assessment, checkpoint firewalls, ASA, ACS, PIM, DDoS, APT, and UTM solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts like switching and routing, network monitoring tools.
  • Information system assessment, IT security, network security.
  • Good understanding of information security standards and compliance needs.
  • Implements security improvements by assessing current situations; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Maintaining SOP and process adherence.

Functional Competencies:

  • Determines security violations and inefficiencies by reviewing current processes.
  • Upgrades systems by implementing and maintaining security controls.
  • Vendor management/SLA monitoring.
  • Defining, planning, scoping, scheduling, preparing complete work breakdowns.
