Key Computer Vision Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Senior Computer Vision Researcher to evaluate, enhance and/or transform our computer vision infrastructure from traditional CNN architectures to cutting-edge transformer-based models.

  • Design and implement transformer-based architecture for semantic segmentation of aerial imagery by utilizing advanced deep learning techniques.
  • Develop efficient image-to-token and token-to-image conversion pipelines that leverage the latest advancements in neural networks.
  • Create and maintain training datasets, including data cleaning, augmentation, and validation processes that ensure high-quality data for model training.
  • Optimize model training processes for distributed computing environments to achieve faster training times and better model performance.
  • Implement efficient inference pipelines for production deployment that minimize latency and maximize accuracy.
  • Collaborate with engineering team to integrate new models into existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong foundation in computer vision and deep learning fundamentals, including convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and transformer models.
  • Extensive experience training transformer models from scratch, with a focus on achieving state-of-the-art results.
  • Expert-level proficiency in PyTorch, with the ability to leverage its latest features and advancements.
  • Experience with ONNX or TensorRT model optimization and deployment, ensuring smooth model deployment and high-performance inference.
  • Deep understanding of distributed computing and parallel processing, allowing for efficient model training and deployment.
  • Advanced Python knowledge, including multi-threading and multi-processing optimization techniques.
  • Experience with semantic segmentation tasks, including the design and implementation of custom architectures and algorithms.
  • Proven track record of handling large-scale data processing, with a focus on scalability and high-performance computing.
