Job Title:

Software Architect for Audio and Video Technologies

We are looking for a skilled Software Architect to design and develop audio and video software solutions for global users in consumer entertainment and automotive industries.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of multimedia frameworks, audio/video technologies, and operating system internals.

Responsibilities include designing and developing software products on schedule, defining system-level architecture, implementing software engineering design patterns, and leading code reviews and bug resolution.

The successful candidate will have strong object-oriented software design skills using multi-threaded C++ and experience in Android and/or iOS app development is highly desirable.

Additional responsibilities include creating comprehensive technical documentation, evaluating testing methodologies, identifying and mitigating potential project risks and technical issues, working autonomously while managing ambiguity and multiple priorities effectively, clearly communicating technical concepts to audiences at all organizational levels, and building a high degree of influence with internal & external partners.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Over 8 years of experience in software development (C/C++/Java/Rust/Kotlin) on Android or Linux platforms
  • Experience with Android OS internals is highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of SoC vendor hardware abstraction layers and the associated device drivers
  • Extensive experience in developing Audio/Video consumer or automotive products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
