Guidewire Business Analyst Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Business Analyst to support the successful implementation and enhancement of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter solutions within the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collect, analyze, and document business requirements for Guidewire implementations to ensure seamless project execution.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional specifications for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  3. Work closely with development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, utilizing Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  4. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements within the insurance sector, facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and presentations to align project goals.
  5. Support testing teams in validating Guidewire functionality and resolving defects, leveraging strong analytical skills and the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
  6. Define and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios in Agile development environments, optimizing system functionalities and ensuring smooth system integration.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain, with hands-on exposure to Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, including underwriting, claims management, and billing workflows, enabling effective requirement gathering and documentation.
  • Experience with requirement gathering, functional documentation, and stakeholder management, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire configuration and integration capabilities, allowing for efficient system customization and optimization.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar, facilitating collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, driving business value and growth.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless project execution and effective stakeholder management.
