Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation solutions that meet organization standards for APIs, services, database, and web.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in testing large-scale distributed cloud-based systems in a continuous integration environment and experience quality assuring solutions targeting Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, the candidate should have experience building reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites, test harnesses, and design and develop test cases based on acceptance criteria.

The successful candidate will participate actively in functional, system, and regression testing activities and work in the agile environment, attend and contribute to all scrum ceremonies, daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. They will also present work during sprint reviews to a wider IT, Product, and Business audience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:
  • Bachelor's or PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing or development with good understanding of testing, coding, and debugging procedures
  • Experience in programming using Java, other languages (e.g., Python, C)
  • Experience in algorithm-based or data testing
  • Experience in design and development of automated tests using automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) across the application layers (UI, Service, Data layers)
  • Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest-Assured, preferred Ready API and Soap UI
  • Experience with source control tools such as GIT, TFS, SVN
  • Exposure with cloud technologies (AWS)
  • Experience with CI Engines (Jenkins, Hudson, Cruise Control), including distributed build system management and understanding of the pipeline system
  • Proficient in Agile, QA methodologies, defect management system, and documentation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver clear, concise documentation and presentations
