About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at eCommerce Services (eCS). As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for converting data into actionable business insights. You will leverage a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform data into actionable business information and make it readily accessible to stakeholders worldwide.
  • Use data to support ideas, drive actionable outcomes, and provide unique ways to present data and information in an easy-to-consume format.
  • Draw inferences and conclusions, create dashboards and visualizations of processed data.
  • Have excellent business and communication skills to work with product owners to understand key business questions and build reports that enable product owners to answer those questions quickly and accurately.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of analytical field experience.
  • 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience.
  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical or quantitative field.
  • Experience in working with databases, ETL, and SQL in a business environment.
  • Demonstrated use of analytical packages and query languages such as SAS, R, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting, familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Quick Sight.

eCommerce Services (eCS) builds systems that span the full range of eCommerce functionality, from Privacy, Identity, Purchase Experience, and Ordering to Shipping, Tax, and Financial integration. We manage several aspects of the customer life cycle, starting from account creation and sign-in, to placing items in the shopping cart, proceeding through checkout, order processing, managing order history, and post-fulfillment actions such as refunds and tax invoices. eCS services determine sales tax and shipping charges, and we ensure the privacy of our customers.
