Job Title: Concurrent Auditor

As a key member of our team, the Concurrent Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of revenue assurance, billing accuracy, and consumption to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinating with our central pricing team to develop and implement IT solutions and tariff changes that eliminate opportunities for incorrect or miscellaneous billing.
  • Analyzing exception reports generated through our business intelligence/enterprise resource planning systems on a daily basis to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Performing reconciliations of high-value investigations and diagnostics to maintain accurate records and prevent revenue leakage.
  • Identifying process gaps related to non-charging of services and developing strategies to rectify these issues.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Verifying manual billing descriptions through physical verification and reconciliation of manual bill books to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitoring control over discounts and refunds to prevent financial losses.
  • Tracking consumable usage such as ventilator initiation, endotracheal intubation, catheterization, nebulization, sugar strips, ABG, and equipment to ensure proper charging.
  • Maintaining close interaction with our IP billing team to address non-billing services and resolve queries from external/internal auditors.

Key Objectives:

  • To ensure accurate billing and avoid complaints of wrong/excess billing.
  • To maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing-related policies and procedures and communicate changes effectively.

Deliverables:

  • Ensure efficient IPD billing flow processes and TAT compliance.
  • Drive new initiatives for process improvements.
  • Minimize errors in billing.
  • Control revenue leakage.
