Job Title:

Mobile Application Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a senior-level position for a mobile tester who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have experience in e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing, as well as good experience in API testing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define the scope of testing within each release or delivery
  • Provide regular status updates to the test lead or manager
  • Support the testing team in their tasks
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, functional leads, and development teams
  • Contribute to test planning and manage the testing effort for each release
  • Design test scenarios and cases
  • Track and report bugs
  • Coordinate defect resolution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • e-commerce domain experience
  • Good experience in API testing
  • Comprehensive understanding of SDLC phases and methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
  • Ability to write and execute structured test plans and cases
  • Solid hands-on experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing
  • Experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects
  • Nice to Have:
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to work in fast-paced dynamic environments
    • Knowledge of current testing tools used in industries
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
