Job Title: Critical Care Specialist

Description:

The primary function of the Critical Care Specialist is to provide support and assistance to healthcare professionals in a high-stakes environment.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and think critically in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients in critical care units

• Monitor vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation

• Operate monitoring equipment, such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and infusion pumps

• Participate in procedures commonly performed in critical care units, such as arterial line insertion, central line placement, and chest tube management

• Respond promptly to patient alarms and notify healthcare professionals of any changes in patient condition

• Assist with patient mobilization and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers

Requirements:

• EMT certification or experience in critical care nursing

• Proficiency in medical software and equipment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
