Computer-Aided Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Computer-Aided Engineer in our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in nonlinear finite element analysis, optimization for strength and stiffness targets, fatigue life estimations, structural dynamics, modal analysis, and dynamic responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full vehicle level NVH studies with point mobility and local dynamic stiffness expertise and optimizations for target frequencies and dynamic responses.
  • Develop an intuitive understanding of structural mechanics and problem-solving attitude to come up with countermeasures with manufacturing and assembly feasibility.
  • Assist in multi-body dynamics simulations with flex-body analysis.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in computer-aided engineering.
  • A degree in automotive or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong fundamentals of Abaqus, Nastran, Optistruct, Hypermesh, Ansa, Hyperview, and Metapost.

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience with point mobility and local dynamic stiffness.
  • Knowledge of CAE tools and software.
