Principal Biostatistician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Statistical Programmer to provide programming support for clinical trials. This role will be responsible for implementing industry-standard regulations and following internal coding conventions.

• Lead Clinical Trial Programming Team: Serve as a lead on assigned studies, overseeing the accuracy and completeness of activities.
• Expertise in CDISC and SAS: Implement CDISC and other regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Project Management: Create and maintain project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Tool Development: Develop and maintain tools and macros to improve quality and efficiency of processes.
• Data Analysis: Apply knowledge of SAS programming to develop and validate statistical outputs according to the statistical analysis plan.
• Mentorship: Serve as a mentor to junior programmers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with other programmers, statisticians, data managers, and database programmers to deliver accurate and high-quality results.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, developing and implementing new procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Business Development: Participate in business development initiatives, supporting the development of proposals and bid defenses.

Requirements:

• Advanced Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics required; Master's degree preferred.
• Programming Experience: Proven experience with SAS programming and implementation of CDISC and other regulatory standards.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills, including ability to create and maintain project timelines.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with strong problem-solving skills.
