Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer
About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Senior QA Automation Engineer role.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality of our software applications.
Key Accountabilities:
- Design and develop automated testing frameworks using Cypress and JavaScript
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts to ensure thorough testing of software applications
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and best practices within the team
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of relevant experience in software/web application testing
- At least 3 years of experience in an agile environment
Techincal Competencies:
- Strong hands-on coding in Cypress and JavaScript
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/Python
- Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium (Ruby), Cypress, Playwright
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, CSS, web standards
- REST API testing experience
- Experience configuring and extending Jenkins with custom plugins
- Knowledge of enterprise automation (parallelism, distribution)
- Familiar with client-side MVC frameworks
- Server-side development exposure (preferably ASP.NET)
- Technical expertise in RDBMS, ideally SQL Server
Social Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
