Engineering Technician Role

This role is focused on ensuring that new utility pole attachments meet industry standards and applicable codes. Key responsibilities include determining if existing pole configurations require Make Ready Engineering (MRE) for new attachments, developing new attachment plans to address clearance violations, performing Pole Loading Analyses (PLA), creating work orders based on MRE and PLA results, reviewing pole data for accuracy, managing assignments and meeting/exceeding production goals, using data/project management systems to document and track project progress, and contributing to other related projects.
Required Skills and QualificationsKey qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in engineering, basic understanding of databases and entering data using modern technology and software, working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and effective use of modern computers. Preferred qualifications include overhead utility recognition experience.
