Job Description:

The Internal Audit Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's processes and systems are aligned with governance, risk management, and compliance objectives. They develop comprehensive audit plans, conduct thorough analyses, and lead individual or group audits to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust audit plans, including checklists and process flowcharts, to effectively manage risks and improve internal controls.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses and audits, preparing detailed reports with findings and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead audits as required, fostering exceptional service quality and client satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain regular interactions with stakeholders, including team members and external partners, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate complex ideas and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in opening and closing meetings with auditees to discuss audit scopes, findings, and action plans, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure audit reports are clear, concise, and actionable, providing practical solutions to management and enhancing overall organizational performance.
  • Document and maintain audit work papers, adhering to relevant standards and regulations to ensure accurate and reliable record-keeping.
  • Regularly update the Reporting Manager on Internal Audit's progress, significant risks, and compliance-related matters, facilitating proactive risk management and mitigation.

Internal Audit Managers must be prepared for travel as required by audit needs, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in their professional practice.
