Key Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure our deliverables meet quality standards.
  • The specialist will be responsible for complete QA responsibility as defined by the QA manager to guarantee timely delivery to customers.
  • They will plan, execute, and perform inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing deliverables to confirm quality conformance to specifications.
  • The specialist will suggest solutions to identified deliverable problems and assist operations in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels to meet goals/KPIs.
  • They will investigate reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with guidelines and customer requirements.
  • The specialist will develop or update inspection procedures to ensure we stay on trend with industry best practices.
  • They will monitor risk-management procedures, maintain and analyze problem logs, and identify recurring issues to report to management and discuss mitigations with the production team.
  • The specialist will interpret, build upon, and comply with quality assurance standards.
  • They will collect quality data by maintaining records and tracking systems.
  • The specialist will document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
  • They will prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.
  • The specialist will oversee continuous improvement projects to develop new standards for production and design.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years experience in content creation/e-learning domain or related fields
  • Proficiency in reviewing content in non-English languages
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices, and defect management practice
  • A sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
  • Professional certification in Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of Content Quality Assurance Automation
