Job Overview
This role is responsible for identifying and evaluating information security risks, as well as aligning the organization's security posture to protect its assets effectively.
- Cyber risk management: Staying up-to-date with emerging security threats, analyzing real-time security operations, and triaging incidents when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and strengthening the organization's cyber security framework.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Reviewing and analyzing data leakage detections.
- Performing penetration testing activities as per regulatory requirements.
- Assisting in implementing security initiatives such as endpoint backup solutions, two-factor authentication, and data loss prevention.
- Leading and managing the Security Operations Centre, providing strategic direction to the SOC team and the organization.
- Ensuring compliance with service level agreements and process adherence, and driving process improvements to achieve operational objectives.
- Continuously assessing current information security practices and systems, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Developing and managing information security awareness training programs for new joiners.
- Reviewing, updating, and providing recommendations on the organization's information security policy, cyber security policy, and standards.
