Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Strategist to join our team in Bangalore. As a key member of our Finance Transition Team, you will play a critical role in driving our client's global finance transformation initiative.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Management Reporting and Analysis: Perform month-end closing tasks, reporting, and analysis, including actuals, allocations, intercompany service charges, revenue, backlog, and compliance.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborate with relevant teams to prepare and communicate timely, accurate, and consistent results, identifying key drivers to support decision-making.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a trusted partner and subject matter expert on finance issues, providing guidance and training for related systems and reporting.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Process Transition and Improvement: Perform tasks related to project transitions, following COE scope of work, timelines, business requirements, and defined metrics/KPIs.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Participate in knowledge transfer sessions, define and own documentation (instruction manuals and scorecards/trackers).

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with:

  • Proven Experience in FP&A: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data, trends, and patterns.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Ability to work in a global environment with multiple stakeholders to drive outcomes.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and accountability in prior roles.

Qualifications:

  • Certifications: CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance.
  • Experience: 12-15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A.
