About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Alexa Customer Journeys team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for testing solutions and experiences built with Large Language Models (LLMs) and other generative technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manual and automated testing of features across various platforms including web and mobile.
  • Planning, development, and execution of test plans and test cases.
  • Reviewing user interfaces for conformity and functionality.
  • Developing, improving, and employing testing strategies and techniques.
  • Finding, isolating, documenting, regressing, and tracking bugs through resolution.
  • Interpreting and reporting testing results, and being a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
  • Working with Software Development Engineers (SDE) to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented, and also with product managers to understand the customer experience - while building mechanisms to improve the software quality.
  • Leading and being responsible for key feature's quality.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
  • Experience in automation testing.
  • Experience in manual testing.
  • Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects.
  • Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium.
  • Gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality.
