Job Description

The Site Civil Manager in Renewable EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Projects is responsible for overseeing the entire civil engineering function at the construction site. This position requires leadership, coordination, and a deep understanding of civil engineering practices related to renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Site Management and Leadership: Lead and manage the site civil engineering team, ensuring that all members are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to complete their tasks.
  2. Project Coordination: Coordinate with other project managers, engineers (electrical, mechanical, environmental), subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of civil works with other project components.
  3. Construction Oversight: Supervise the construction and installation of civil works, including foundations, access roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure for renewable energy projects.
  4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all site operations are conducted in strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  5. Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee quality control and quality assurance activities, ensuring that civil engineering works meet the highest standards and comply with the approved designs.
  6. Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, identifying potential delays, issues, or deviations from the plan.
  7. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with civil works, including delays, safety hazards, and environmental challenges.
