Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled UAV Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of UAV technology and architecture, as well as hands-on experience with autopilot platforms and microcontrollers.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating systems and subsystems for multirotor, fixed-wing, and hybrid/VTOL UAVs, collaborating with product development teams to drive design optimization, conducting flight tests and documenting observations, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing flight data and extracting actionable insights, and developing and maintaining SOPs, checklists, and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate systems and subsystems for multirotor, fixed-wing, and hybrid/VTOL UAVs.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to drive design optimization.
  • Conduct flight tests as per test plans and document observations.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Analyze flight data and extract actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, checklists, and control processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of UAV technology and architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with autopilot platforms (e.g., ArduPilot, PX4), and micro controllers (Arduino, ESP 32).
  • Extensive experience in flight controllers calibration and firmware upgrades
  • Hands on experience of integrating sensors
  • Experience in PCB Designing and firmware programming shall be added advantage
  • Hands on experience with Mission Planner, QGC, and MAVLink.

Bonus If You Have:

  • Proven track record in similar roles or complex UAV projects.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and programming (C/C++/Python).
  • Experience in UAV assembly, autopilot tuning, and payload integration.
