Job Title: Senior Software Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, preferably within ERP systems.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires the ability to lead testing efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement best practices to deliver robust software solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on detailed business and technical requirements.
  • Define testing methodologies and processes to ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Lead and execute functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing for complex ERP modules.
  • Utilize automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential issues early.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in software testing, preferably within ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of leading QA teams and managing complex testing projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
  • Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
Regulatory Knowledge

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards, including FDA, EMA, and cGMP. Experience ensuring software compliance with regulatory requirements is also essential.

Soft Skills

You will need to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as strong leadership and team management skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are also required.
