Job Title: Senior Data Architecture Specialist

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced data architect to lead our data engineering efforts and design scalable data pipelines.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS services such as Lambda, DMS, and Glue.
  • This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with Snowflake stored procedures and Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with data quality best practices is required.
  • Familiarity with SQL scripting and Python programming languages is necessary for this position.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data ingestion and transformation processes using AWS services.
  • Develop and optimize Snowflake stored procedures to meet business requirements.
  • Manage and monitor scheduled data workflows using Apache Airflow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data sets and reports.
  • Implement robust data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of delivered datasets and reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a data architect or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL scripting and Python programming.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services including Lambda, DMS, and Glue.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with Snowflake.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Bonus Points:

  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Familiarity with data quality best practices.
