Job Overview

The role of a Software Engineering Leader is to oversee the development and maintenance of software applications. This position requires a technically sound individual with experience in leading high-performing technology teams that build scalable and data-intensive software.

About the Role

This leadership role involves providing technical guidance, support, and direction to the engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of engineering principles, system design, and programming to drive software development and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make informed technical decisions and solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Develop and implement agile methodologies to improve software development processes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of product development projects.
Requirements
  • BE, B Tech, M Tech, MCA degree holders with 8-10 years of experience in related domains are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and development experience in one or more of the following domains: web application development, mobile app development, cloud engineering.
  • Strong knowledge in system design and architecture of highly scalable, modular, and data-driven applications.
  • Proven experience in Engineering Manager roles in startups, automobile, retail, Saas, or similar industries.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical background and hands-on experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, C, JavaScript, Python.
  • Experience in microservices architecture, event-driven, and asynchronous architecture.
  • Strong knowledge in cloud services, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven experience in handling cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
