Job Title: Engineering Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced leader to head our Observability team. This role will involve providing technical direction, driving architectural discussions, and overseeing implementation details.

This position requires a strong understanding of the Linux operating system and command-line tools, as well as hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Direction: Contribute to architectural discussions and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Oversight and Delivery: Ensure the delivery of reliable, performant, and secure platforms and services.
  • Cultivating Excellence: Enhance the skills of team members and support their career growth.
  • Facilitating Ceremonies: Facilitate scrum ceremonies and meet with senior leadership to set strategic direction and communicate progress.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing technical direction, driving architectural discussions, and overseeing implementation details.

Requirements
  • Minimum Experience: Minimum of 12 years of overall experience, including at least 4 years in people management leading engineering teams.
  • Linux Operating System: Strong understanding of the Linux operating system and command-line tools.
  • Configuration Management Tools: Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Scripting Languages: Proficient in scripting using programming languages, such as Bash, Ruby, Python, Perl, Java, or Golang.

Additional Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Linux operating system and command-line tools, as well as hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
