Product Leadership Position

We seek a seasoned Product Engineering Manager to spearhead the development of innovative products.

  • This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a robust product engineering process.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end product engineering requirements and drive the execution of the product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with strategy, product, and business teams to create a product roadmap and drive its execution.
  2. Serve as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  3. Identify and deploy the right tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to help product engineers work faster and solve technology problems more effectively.
  4. Responsible for product development, testing, deployment, and maintenance within agreed time frames.
  5. Own all non-functional requirements (NFRs) for products.
  6. Contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.
  7. Responsible for full-stack product development and release, including architecture, design, development, and testing within agreed time frames.
  8. Adapt and iterate quickly based on user and business feedback and metrics.

Requirements:

  • B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree with 12-20 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in product development companies is desirable.
  • Well-versed in Agile software development and management methods.
  • Adept at using off-the-shelf software components rather than building everything from scratch.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript-based front-end frameworks, back-end frameworks, service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and observability tools.
  • Passionate about working together with a team to solve customer problems and excited about teaching and mentoring team members.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
