Drive our import logistics operations forward by developing end-to-end logistics strategies for chemical cargo movement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize cost, delivery timelines, and safety compliance for chemical imports via bulk and containerized modes.
  • Manage spot and long-term chartering of chemical tankers, dry bulk vessels, and container space, negotiating freight contracts and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee customs clearance, import documentation, and regulatory approvals, as well as manage classification, packaging, and labeling of hazardous chemicals.
  • Coordinate with port authorities, terminals, and bonded warehouses for efficient cargo handling and supervise movement from port to plant via road tankers or ISO tanks.
  • Monitor freight trends, benchmark costs, and initiate cost-saving strategies, analyzing and reporting KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
