About the Role
Tek Ninjas is seeking an experienced Big Data Solutions Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines and transformations at scale. As a key member of our data team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions while ensuring data governance, quality, and consistency. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing data ingestion pipelines using ELT and schema-on-read techniques in Databricks Delta Lake, as well as implementing and managing data lake systems using AWS/Azure technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize data transformations using the ELT framework, ensuring high-performance and scalable solutions.
  • Implement and manage data lake systems using AWS/Azure technologies such as S3, Databricks, Hive, Spark, Scala, and Python.
  • Build and maintain ingestion pipelines with Kafka (mandatory), Golden Gate, and similar tools for bulk and incremental data loads.
