**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Career Development Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in helping students achieve their career goals by matching them with suitable job openings. Your expertise will enable you to create and track funnels of eligible students, forecast openings, and plan ahead to meet program outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and track funnels of students becoming eligible for placements and monitor until closure or placement/certification.
  • Forecast openings for passing out students for a rolling period of three months and plan accordingly.
  • Achieve strict adherence to experience center visit plans.
  • Plan and conduct placement grooming sessions for students and strictly monitor student placability quotient based on defined parameters.
  • Evaluate all eligible students and allocate them to suitable placements/internships within set timelines.
  • Liaise with students, fellow team members, and organizations to match student profiles with job openings.
  • Generate relevant job openings according to students' profiles.
  • Negotiate with internal teams based on final levels achieved by students.
  • Ensure effective communication through publishing placement reports, critical reports, selection ratios, and alumni tracking.
  • Support events like job fairs, placement drives, alumni events, and regular collection of testimonials from placed students.
  • Maintain and update reports for all students eligible for placement and updated placed candidates.
  • Take ownership of students undergoing internships until final service delivery.
  • Document all communication to students, deferment, placement offers, joining dates, and number of opportunities provided.
  • Handle student grievances efficiently and effectively, especially critical cases.
  • Plan, organize, and manage student engagement activities, including placement events/sessions.
  • Design and create creatives and videos for placement activities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Strong training skills.
  • 100% customer load placement within timelines.
  • Selective ratio - ensure student placement within three interviews.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and other tools).

Education Qualifications:

  • Mandatory: Any graduation stream with a minimum of 50% in Grad and XIIth.
  • Preferred: BSc IT, BE/B Tech in Computer Science, or Post Graduate in any field.

Functional Skills:

  • High knowledge of industry trends and emerging trends.
  • Good articulation skills in English/Hindi/Local language.
  • Grievance handling.
  • Phone call handling.
  • Ability to convince students - Customer Responsiveness.
  • Grooming skills in Personality Development, English Communication, and Interview Handling.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and other tools).
  • Knowledge of designing (creatives and videos for placement activities).

Experience:

  • Minimum (# of years): 4 years.
  • Maximum (# of years): 6 years.
  • Relevant experience: Not less than 4 years.
  • Preferred Industry: Education/Edtech/Retail sector, and strong operations profile/with retail customer handling.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
