About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side services and APIs using Go and Python.

Your primary responsibilities will include owning design, implementation, and maintenance of server-side systems and APIs; delivering production-grade, well-tested, and maintainable code that supports a scalable monolith/modular monolith architecture; making and documenting pragmatic system design decisions; building resilient data access layers; collaborating with frontend, data, and product teams; participating in and leading code reviews; mentoring junior engineers; driving CI/CD, observability, and deployment workflows; troubleshooting, profiling, and optimizing runtime performance and system resource use.

In addition to technical skills, we value engineers who behave like product builders. You should be able to ship fast, iterate faster, prioritize for impact, propose and validate ideas, own outcomes, descope to deliver, work with low ceremony, and dive deep when required.

If you have hands-on experience with Go, Python, APIs & Services, Databases, Testing & CI/CD, Debugging & Observability, and Hands-on Production Experience, we encourage you to apply.

A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if you have equivalent practical experience.
