Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Java engineer with extensive experience in software development and DevOps practices. The role requires a strong background in building scalable Java-based applications and integrating workflow automation to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines, automated deployments, and cloud-native operations.

About the Role

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance robust Java applications using microservices architecture.
  • Ongoing code optimization for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts and quality assurance teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in peer reviews, technical planning, and architecture discussions.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Manage infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Configure and maintain Docker containers, orchestration with Kubernetes or EKS/AKS.
  • Monitor, log, and alert using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Collaborate with cloud engineering teams for deployments in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • 8 to 10 years of total experience in software development and DevOps roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Java 8/11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS or Azure).
  • Experience in automated testing, build/release cycles, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API security.
  • Must have worked on insurance-related projects (P&C, Life, Health, Claims, or Underwriting systems).
