About the Job

The role of ETL Developer at Netlabs Global IT Services Pvt. Ltd. is a key position in accelerating the Big Data and Analytics environment. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the Digital initiatives for enhancing, automating, and accelerating the implementation of master data management, adoption of big data platforms, data excellence, and data dictionary evolution. You will also be responsible for ensuring data security and business intelligence and analytics that drive strategic decisions across corporate functions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver ETL solutions on the corporate Data Platform.
  • Develop and maintain ETL standards, patterns, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure standards and patterns are followed.
  • Determine organizational strategies for data integrity validation processes.
  • Establish policies and best practices for optimizing ETL data throughput and accessibility.
  • Identify opportunities for new initiatives and make recommendations on increasing scalability and robustness of ETL platforms and solutions.
  • Partner with data modelers to drive improvements and enhancements to the current data landscape and future strategy.
  • Stay current on new ETL techniques and methodologies and communicate trends and opportunities to management and other developers as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for uses of new technologies to enhance current or anticipated information systems and business goals needs.
  • Evaluate existing applications that could address client requirements and make recommendations from complex projects.
  • Identify opportunities for solution sharing and reuse.
  • Assist in the development of ETL-related Service Level Agreements.
  • Communicate risks and ensure understanding of these risks.
Qualifications
  • B.E / B Tech/Masters in Computer Science, Technology.
  • 5-7 years of strong SnapLogic development experience.
  • Ability to engage with multiple technical teams with a supportive attitude to achieve a shared goal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Understanding of the overall system landscape, upstream and downstream systems.
  • Ability to leverage Snaplogic features/functions to achieve best results.
  • Good Redshift or Oracle (or comparable database) experience with BI/DW deployments.
  • Exposure to other ETL tools, SAP, Oracle ERP connectivity with Snaplogic, Connectivity with API.
  • Development experience in minimum 1 year in Python scripting and Unix scripting is an added advantage.
  • Familiar with AWS technologies.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies - Data processing and data transformation flows.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, research, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems.

  • Ability to work effectively with globally dispersed stakeholders from business.
