Senior Biostatistician Role

The successful candidate will lead a team of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians and SAS programmers in clinical research studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct junior staff members on complex statistical projects.
  • Provide expert consultation on statistical methodology to various projects across the company.
  • Develop innovative statistical solutions to real-world problems.
  • Review and improve statistical designs for research studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop study analysis plans and statistical programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current statistical and medical literature to ensure sound methodologies are adopted.
  • Evaluate the scientific integrity of research projects and accuracy of reported results.
  • Lead sample size calculations and design research projects.
Requirements
  • Master's or PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience with a Master's degree or 1 year with a PhD.
  • Proficiency in statistical methods and applications in clinical research.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R.
  • Expertise in data manipulation and statistical methodology.
